3 Tips For Banana Success
1. Place overripe bananas in a zipper-lock plastic bag and freeze them. When you’re ready to make banana bread, thaw the bananas on the counter until softened.
2. Know your banana. There are hundreds of varieties - baby bananas are floral sweet, Orinoco bananas have lemon undertones, and red bananas offer apple and raspberry aftertastes.
3. Kick up your banana bread with caramelized bananas: roast bananas for 20 minutes until black-skinned, cool, and peel and mash as the recipe directs. The bananas will be sweeter and more intensely flavorful.
Ready to go bananas? Our Banana Split Cake is cool and creamy.

Patriotic Poke Cake
For a Patriotic Poke Cake that screamed red, white, and blue all the way through, we cooked blueberries and strawberries to create two separate syrups to drizzle over our white cake. Poking holes into the top of the cake allowed us to incorporate our syrups directly into the interior of the cake. Get the recipe.

Who wants to bake a cake with me? =) I need someone’s kitchen!

An order came in at work last week to do a TARDIS cake for a 16th birthday. Yesterday I made it and today the customer came and picked it up. She was ecstatic, to say the least. I told her I was thrilled to have done it, being a giant Doctor Who nerd. And then she gave me a huge tip, which was totally unexpected! I hope her daughter liked it. :D

To the other dorky cake decorators, it’s a 1/4 sheet on a 1/2 board. Entirely decorated in buttercream icing except for the light at the top which is fondant, and the handles which are flexible black wires.

It doesn’t seem too hard to make!  Excellent for PRIDE college parties as well.   :)

Both games I’m really enjoying.

My life isn't all that interesting as far as I'm concerned. I'm 20, smart, artistic, outgoing, and a horrible dancer. I like boys and riding on subways, which my hometown sadly lacks. I'm in it for life, and whatever anyone else thinks, I'm happy being me. But that's not weird, right?
